Abby had her picc line capped and her feeding increased to 26ml (her max). The line is not out but capping is a step in the right direction. She gained 30 grams and was up to 2lbs 14oz Monday night and went to 3lbs tonight!! The nurse gave her a card for the occasion.
Jack is hanging out at 3lb 6oz, and his feedings continue as usual. He just doesn't want to leave his sister. ;-) I do feel bad not writing as much about him, but he is doing so well there is not much to say. I will share a story that Chris told me last night: Chris was holding Jack and was telling him how much he loved him, etc. Jack opened one eye and then proceeded to flip Chris off. Later when we talked he said, "Do you know what your son did? He pulled his feeding tube out not once but THREE times in a two hour period!" Jack pulled his tube out Sunday night too and the nurse taped it down good. My son is just telling him he is ready to get that tube out.
