Jack is still doing wonderful. Feedings still at half and half though in no hurry to separate the two of them so fine with that. Have a feeling the tax return for 2011 will pay their hospital bills (ha ha)
Abby is still spitting up so they have her an enema to flush her out. (She's is going to hate me for posting that when she gets older and reads this! :-D ) Her Kidney levels looked much better today (BUN(?) was 22 Monday, 40 Wednesday and 45 today. The CR was 1.0 Monday, 1.2 Wednesday and 1.0 today) and there was no blood or calcium in her urine! Praise God! Keep the prayers coming they are working!
After Kangaroo Care she did spit up some after she was put back in. She is now on 5ml every 12 hours for food and Jack is on 45ml every three hours. He was lazy today and had all of his meals through the tube. On the plus side he woke up before his 11am and 5pm feeds and stayed awake for an hour. I think he was hungry but they keep them on a tight schedule! It was however nice to see him so alert and active. He also was read his first book by Daddy. He stared at Chris the whole time. It was sooooooo cute!
Aside from all of that they had a good day. They both stayed the same (2lb 5oz and 4lb 7oz). Abby did have a couple of Brady spells during her assessment but she pulled herself out of them. As long as she can do that she is okay.
Thank you for the continued prayers. I can see their power every day in that room!!
